Dr. Ravi Mehan was born in Hollywood, Florida. He is happily married with two children. He enjoys traveling with his family, swimming, fishing, and watching the NFL and sporting events. Dr. Mehan is Board certified in Internal Medicine from Michigan State University. Started PCA in 2003 and caring for treasure coast patients for over 15 years from home to hospital to rehab to back home. He is an active leader in multiple healthcare organizations and insurance Industry.
Dr. Yohanna Deno received her medical degree from Universidad beroamericana in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She then went on to complete her internal medicine residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Deno not only provides exceptional patient care in our practice, but also has served as an active hospitalist in Martin Memorial Health Systems, Lawnwood Regional Medical Center and St. Lucie Medical Center since her move to Florida. Her patients view her as more than a doctor but part of the family. She resides on the Treasure Coast where she proudly raises her two daughters who hope to follow her footsteps. Dr. Deno is fluent in both English and Spanish
Dr. Diane Pugh was born the middle child of 3 girls in a military family. She was fortunate enough to have lived all over the world - from Texas to New York, and from Japan to Australia - and she still loves to travel. Her parents retired in Florida: she and her sisters still call Florida home. Dr. Pugh went to UF undergrad, Nova SE for medical school and did her FP residency at Florida Hospital in Orlando. She moved to Ft. Pierce in 1995 where she met her husband, a local attorney, and has lived ever since (amazing since she never lived in one place more than 5 years). She has 2 children in high school who are also considering medicine as a career. Her hobbies include running (a habit she and her husband share and have passed onto their kids who both run track and cross country). She also enjoys her pets (2 dogs, 2 rabbits and a horse). She fancies herself an amateur photographer.
Dr. Roberta Hunter was born in New York City and grew up on Long Island. She attended Paul D. Schreiber High School in Port Washington and Sarah Lawrence College in Bronxville, New York. Dr. Hunter started a master's degree in human genetics at Hunter College before starting medical school at the Universidad Autonoma De Guadalajara. After 4 years in medical school, she began training as a General Surgeon at Coney Island Hospital and Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. Dr. Hunter changed specialties after an accident and worked emergency Medicine in New York. before moving to Florida. She was Board Certified in Emergency Medicine in 1994 and worked in emergency room for 10 years before starting her own private practice in General Medicine in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Dr. Hunter joined Primary Care Associates in October of 2016.
Dr. Sura is an Internal Medicine Primary Care Physician who earned his medical degree from India. He has worked there as Chief Medical Officer in State Government hospital. Earned Internal Medicine Doctorate from Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Pontiac, Michigan in 1999. Since then in practice as primary
care physician in Florida since 2004. Passionate about complicated cases, geriatric cases and the Medicaid population. Diligent in providing current state of the art care and working closely with specialists.
Dr. Lyons is a graduate of University of Pittsburgh with Bachelor of Science in Biology and West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981. She also completed a year at the University of Michigan School of Public Health and studied nutrition. Her Florida life began when she started practicing in Tampa in 1981. Her early experience is in Family Practice as well as Emergency Medicine and Urgent Care. She moved to the Treasure Coast in 2003. She had her practice in Stuart for 9 years before joining Primary Care Associates. She believes in being thorough in her examinations as well as showing compassion. She is a good listener and educator. She likes growing and taking care of her orchids and she loves dogs.
Dr. Gomez is Board Certified Internist practicing in Florida since 1991. Born in Guatemala, he moved to New York City at the age of 7. He obtained his Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology from Queens College of the City University of New York. He proceeded to get his Medical Doctorate from New York Medical College in 1988. He completed a 3 year residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. He subsequently committed to a 4 year program with the Nation Health Service Corp in Sebring, Florida. Dr. Gomez joined Primary Care Associates in 2019. He speaks and writes fluent in Spanish and English. He is married, has 2 boys who have recently graduated from the engineering program at University of FL. He loves sports, plays tennis
and spending time with family.
Carolyn is a native New Yorker and had lived in Florida since 2005. Carolyn is a graduate of Wagner College class of 1985 with a BSN and was employed as a surgical ICU nurse in various New York hospital systems. She graduated from FAU with a Masters of Science and is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner. Carolyn has been a provider with PCA since 2009 and is wound care certified.
Mary Callahan, PA-C, is a board certified physician assistant, graduating from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania where she received her Masters of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant studies graduating Magna Cum Laude. Mary has over 5 years of experience in primary care, with an interest in dermatology and preventive medicine. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants. She enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, and spending time with her husband and dog in her spare time.
Dominique S. Hill is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified in Family Practice. She received her undergraduate degree with Bachelor of Science
in Nursing at Barry University in Miami, Florida in 2003 and worked as a Critical Care Nurse for over 12 years in Trauma and Neuro Intensive Care Units. She further obtained a Master of Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2009.
Dominique completed her graduate studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia and received her Master’s in the Science of Nursing in 2016. She is also
A member of Sigma Theta Tau, AANP and AACN.
Dominique likes to travel on her free time with her 2 daughters. She has been a member of Primary Care Associates since 2016. She believes health and fitness is the essence of life. She also believes in consistency.
